Purchased for another customer who collects books and movies. To my knowledge he is happy with this purchase so far.
Classic that never gets old.
This was ordered for one of my kids as a summer assignment. It is what it is. Well printed and does the job. Hopefully my child will learn to appreciate an older literary work.
A worthy and exciting read. Wells is a master story teller. Don't read it in the dark! Enjoy the book!
H.G. Wells does an awesome job of letting the reader get comfortable with his characters and then slowly turn you against them. This book is very hard to put down and is a must read if you enjoyed any of the other Wells books.
Fast delivery, however pages and cover were cut oddly and didn't match up. My child is reading for school & said the odd cutting of the pages was a bit distracting...
Dated (duh!) but so is Dickens, Thoreau and Twain.
