Unintended Consequences A Wartime Murder Mystery eBook LES LUNT
I found this to be a confusing and complex story. There are way too many characters introduced and way too many subplots to keep straight while trying to follow the story. To top it off, the ending never resolves the whereabouts of two of the main characters, briefly tells us in a epilogue what happened to the valuables, but never tells us if the other items referred to throughout the story were every recovered.I struggled to stay in touch with the story and am happy that it ended.

Unintended Consequences A Wartime Murder Mystery eBook LES LUNT Reviews
I found that the book had too many characters. That, and the continual jumping back and forth, made it hard to follow. The story might have been better if it had a straight timeline from past to present.
Interesting mix of past and present mystery. Sometimes difficult to keep up with the many characters. Story line just suddenly ended and author just filled in the blanks rather than allowing the story to play out.
This book is okay. I found there seems to be several different yet related plots going on and the ending sort of leave you hanging.
This has a terrific core story that kept me going the whole way.
However, there were a lot of sub stories and so many characters that all served to dilute and confuse the main story.
The ending to one of the sub stories further left me unsatisfied.
Actually that heading might not be correct. This book grabs at the beginning and stays good through - until almost the end. Like so many other writers, the ending seems to be a surprise and sneaks up on him. I will be reading more by Les Lunt in the future.
This is a fun read but it is so diverse in characters and locations that it is hard to follow at times. It is a melding of modern day forensics, Free Masonry and WW ll history. If you are familiar with these areas of life you will enjoy the book .

Really enjoyed reading this authors book. This mystery took place during world war two to present. If you are a person who likes military books with a Sherlock Holmes twist to it,this book is for you. This book was really interesting and the author did a great job of making you feel like you were right there.
