With wedding bells ringing and a killer stalking from the shadows, a former British spy makes up for lost time with the one that got away in this thrilling Regency romance from the author of Spy Fall and License to Wed.

Emilia St. George is moments away from marrying the admired grandson of a duke when the man who once jilted her decides to kidnap her at the altar. It’s the second time in five years Hamilton Sparrow has ruined her wedding day, and Emilia isn’t about to forgive him. The mere sight of her ex-fiancé revives painful memories—and, most regrettably, aching desires that refuse to be ignored.

Scanning the guests at Emilia’s wedding, Sparrow spots a familiar face an assassin he recognizes from his days as a spy in France. Whisking Emilia away, he’s pleasantly surprised by her newly formed curves. Could this be the same flame-haired slip of a girl once promised to Sparrow? And does the fop she still insists on marrying realize what a prize she is? True, Sparrow left Emilia at the altar. But he’s afraid that the only way to right that particular wrong is to risk the one thing he’s always guarded his heart.

“Spies, intrigue, murder, a dashing hero, and a plucky heroine make this a real page-turner.”—Ashlyn Macnamara, author of What a Lady Requires

“Diana Quincy’s From London with Love is a real page-turner. The romance sizzles, the suspense builds, and the ending is thoroughly satisfying. A wonderful synthesis of action and romance!”—Shana Galen, author of I Kissed a Rogue

“Wonderfully written and brilliantly executed, Diana Quincy hit a home run with From London with Love. Feisty Emilia and brooding Sparrow are the perfect couple, add to that murder and art theft and this book had me furiously turning the pages. I highly recommend From London with Love and look forward to reading more from Ms. Quincy.”—Sharon Cullen, USA Today bestselling author of The Reluctant Duchess

From London with Love Rebellious Brides edition by Diana Quincy Romance eBooks

I wholeheartedly recommend "From London With Love" by Diana Quincy, to anyone who is yearning for a historical romance with vivid characters, a unique story that will keep you engaged and on the edge of your seat, and most importantly a hero and heroine who are beyond perfect together.

Hamilton Sparrow is now one of my top 5 favorite book heroes. Trust me, you will fall irrevocably in love with him from the very first chapter, and more so every chapter thereafter. Emilia St. George is delightful. She's an heiress, and lovely, but has a bit of a self esteem problem. Sparrow and Emilia have a complicated relationship to say the least. The marriage arranged for them by their parents, never took place. Sparrow cried off for honorable reasons, but all Emilia knows is that the man she's been in love with since she was a child has jilted her and she assumes he just didn't find her attractive. Five years later, she's set to marry another man...someone she doesn't love, but thinks she can be reasonably happy with, but Sparrow spirits her away from the church before the wedding can take place. It's for her own good, but she's fit to be tied, and that's when all hell breaks loose and the fun begins.

I read a lot of books, most of them historical romances, so I love it when I happen upon a storyline that is fresh and thoroughly engaging. With all the twists and turns, I truly didn't know what to expect next, but the happily ever after was well worth the wait. The romance that blooms between Sparrow and Emilia is absolutely delicious ... (sigh). I can't say enough about how wonderfully written this book is. Suffice it to say, I truly didn't want it to end... IT WAS THAT GOOD!

Move over, James Bond. Diana Quincy does it again! with From London With Love. This book had me on my seat, from the time the mysterious Sparrow kidnaps her from the altar to the smaller moments shared with the feisty main character Emelia. I don't want to say too much about the plot as there's a lot of suspenseful moments that kept me on my toes. But aside from the wonderfully unpredictable storyline and well-developed characters, what I love about this story is how Ms. Quincy creates these subtle yet memorable, sharp yet poignant, laugh-out-loud moments that sets her writing apart from other historical authors. I can't wait to read more in this series!
Hamilton Sparrow, a former agent for the Crown who years ago broke off an engagement with Lady Emilia because of the danger of his work as an agent, is now a titled Lord who believes he is incapable of love because of adverse relationships he had while he was an agent. In the meantime, Emilia has always been in love with Sparrow but has been promised to another Lord for marriage by her father. Because of mysterious attacks upon Emilia and suspicions about the man she is engaged to marry, she is in Sparrow’s company often enough for both of them to become attracted to each other once again. This is a romp of a romance complete with misconceptions on the part of the hero and heroine and danger throwing them together all too often. I loved it! A copy of this book was provided to me by NetGalley.
After reading the sample I thought the book sounded like a light fun read so I bought it. Wow, the pages that followed the sample were down right crude. It was like night and day difference. The hero, Sparrow, thinks back to his past mistress, licking champagne off her body. His thoughts are interrupted by his crude housekeeper wanting to go to bed with him. I was thinking maybe I should try to return this book. But after that things settled down a bit and Sparrow started to turn into a worthy hero. It was an okay story.
I love regency romances! I've read some of this author's books and liked them. This book had an intriguing premise - nobleman kidnaps former fiancée before wedding because of death threat. The heroine, Miss Emilia St George, was quite compelling - beautiful, smart, and mature. The hero, Hamilton Sparrow, Viscount Vale, was also compelling - handsome, courageous, and aristocratic. They had good chemistry. The storyline was unpredictable and entertaining. I liked the author's writing style as usual - plenty of action & dialogue. Overall, a very good book!
l didn't care for the H until the middle of the story. He slept with anyone female, and I dislike that in my H's. But, when he stops being a male Whore he grew on me.

There is humor and I enjoyed the banter between the H/h. There is a lot of suspense and many villains that made it a very interesting story. Our h is a talented and plays two parts depending on who is in the room. She plays one part that the ton expects of her, then with a few close family, she can be herself. Our H recognizes the gem she hides.

There is very passionate and somewhat descriptive lovemaking. Maybe heat level 4 out of 5. We get a very rough road to HEA, no cliffhanger and a satisfying ending.

I have signed up to follow this author, I did enjoy her writing style. I am not going into the premise as many have explained it better than myself. (ljb)
Hamilton Sparrow (what a name!) decided not to marry Emilia St. George on the morning of their wedding. Five years later at she is in the cathedral waiting to marry another man, he abducts her to prevent the marriage. It seems that he has spotted a notorious assassin outside watching Emilia and he needs to protect her. What follows is a mad chase of spies, ex-spies, art thieves, and hired killers. There is never a dull moment. The characters are great. I truly loved Emilia. She just isn't your average spineless wench waiting to be rescued. Sparrow (and yes, it's a little hard not to think of Johnny Depp) is definitely hero material. A little lacking in common sense, maybe, but his courage and hotness make up for it. The secondary characters are great, too. Loved the ladies maid and the overly lusty Duke. Diana Quincy is an author that I have never read before, but will definitely read again.

Sexual situations (pretty hot) may offend some readers
